Padlet is a great mobile learning tool that easily allows collaboration between students in the classroom, enabling peer learning to take place, and co-creation of resources. The finished Padlets can then be shared, allowing them to be posted to Blackboard for future reference.

In this Video Claire Humprheys from the University of Westminster’s Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment explains how she uses Padlet and gives an example of using Padlet to consolidate group learning after a two-day residential. Padlet allows students to contribute anonymously, which means students are less reluctant to contribute for fear of looking foolish, which is a great benefit in increasing engagement.

Padlet is easy to use and freely available on the internet, and more onformation is available at this website.
